Release Train Engineer (RTE) – Digital Products (f/m/d)

Now we are looking for an outstanding Release Train Engineer, who will help us bring our Agile Release Train (ART) and Teams within Digital Products to the next level. Digital Products is the platform to enable digital services for our owners in more than 45 countries. Our goal is a seamless enrollment into the digital world of Porsche.

RTE at Porsche Digital is a crucial member of the team. We see this role as a glue that holds everything together. We are looking for someone who is passionate about establishing an environment where the ART and Teams can be productive and who is constantly looking for new ways of enhancing team cohesion and dynamics.

WHAT YOUR TASKS ARE

  • You are passionate about designing and shaping agile organizational structures as part of the digitization of leading industrial companies 
  • You build and evolve a high performance product organization that develops our global corporate website porsche.com using agile collaboration methods 
  • You continuously optimize the Agile Release Train and make sure to be in line with the lean-agile values and principles 
  • You act as a servant leader in the Agile Release Train and help identify and resolve cross-team risks and dependencies 
  • You are responsible to optimize the flow for the ART
  • You conduct role-specific coaching and enablement of Product Managers, Architects, Agile Team Coaches, Product Owners, Business Owners and other stakeholders 
  • You facilitate SAFe events like PI Planning, System Demo, ART Sync and others 
  • You sharpen awareness in the business and management for the specifics and requirements of agile product development  
  • You impart expert knowledge to our teams to make the agile methodology toolbox even broader for us 
  • You support building strong cross-functional teams by promoting self-management, autonomy and a lean-agile mindset 
  • You create an environment where constant learning through feedback and experimentation takes place and positive team health can grow 
  • You collaborate with other Coaches and RTEs to ensure an overarching SAFe implementation 

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

  • Successfully completed studies in economics, business informatics, industrial engineering (or comparable) 
  • At least 5 years of practical experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach or Release Train Engineer in agile software development 
  • Experience in developing value streams is desirable 
  • Very good English skills and confident handling of the tools of a Release Train Engineer (e.g. MS Office, Jira, Confluence, Miro) 
  • Ideally certified as SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe® Program Consultant (SPC)
  • Extensive experience with agile working methods such as Scrum, Kanban and SAFe 
  • Concrete experience in software development, engineering or organizational development is desirable 
  • Being goal-oriented and well organized with an eye for the big picture 
  • High level of commitment, initiative, as well as teamwork and communication skills
