We are looking for a Product Manager, who will push the development and success of digital eco-systems integration in our “Vehicle Solutions and Data” Portfolio. In this portfolio we work in small cross-functional and local product teams across the globe, close to our target group, to develop and launch market specific solutions. At the same time global collaboration and synergies based on lean and data-driven processes are key to our success.

As a Product Manager, you will be based in Germany and are responsible in the early phase of the product creation and define the holistic service offering and drive the product approval by collaborating with all relevant Porsche (VW Group) business areas, e.g. Strategy, Engineering, Carlines, Marketing & Sales, Legal and Procurement. In close collaboration with the global, digital eco-system partners you will represent Porsche as one of the key-counterparts in realizing the eco-system integration.

WHAT YOUR TASKS ARE

In close collaboration with all internal partners, you are responsible to:

  • Define and align the product vision, scope & strategy as well as the overall roadmap of the 3rd Party System Integration
  • Define the business case and ensure the digital solution meets economic business goals
  •  Align entire solution with all relevant stakeholders to achieve approval in all needed Porsche & VW Group Panels including preparation of necessary documentation
  • Collaborate closely with the global, digital eco-system partners on all relevant topics
  • Represent the interest of the product teams as a bridgehead in the PAG organization and ensure fluent communication between stakeholders and product teams, both during early phase and development phase
  • Organize and facilitate product demos, cross-department workshops and feedback sessions across time-zones if needed
  • Managing purchase alignments and operation

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

  • 4+ years experience in a Product Management or similar role in an international context
  • Experience working cross-functionally with a variety of different domains, i.e. Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Business Development.
  • Deep understanding and experience with 3rd Party System Integration
  • Strong technical background with experience in complex projects
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies. Working knowledge for SAFe methodology.
  • Proven ability to define business models and to launch new concepts, as well as manage multiple initiatives in a timely fashion, with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues 
  • Ability to tackle problems pro-actively through creative solutions
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, that can be applied across a diverse set of audiences in a sensitive and diplomatic manner
  • Fluent in English and German
