The purpose of this position is to develop outstanding products with high customer value and Porsche-like Quality.
The position is based in Berlin or Ludwigsburg (remote flexible)
YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Work hands-on implementing our products through modern frameworks
- Continuously improve our software development process by identifying possible risks and improvements to ensure long-term product success
- Strong focus on performance and user experience
- Ensure premium ‘Porsche-like’ quality of our products through modern quality tools and processes
- Be an active part of an agile team and take over product responsibility while working closely with other teams in the digital ecosystem at Porsche Digital, integrating crucial assets and capabilities and scaling the product
- Writing software tests and conducting tests together with colleagues
- Debugging and bug-fixing the application at hand taking its surrounding system context into consideration
- Maintaining proper source code documentation for the implementation
- Present the implemented features to colleagues and stakeholders
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG:
- Experience in modern Software Development environments
- You have worked either as a Fullstack, Backend or Web Developer beforehand
- In-depth knowledge of new and established technologies and programming languages
- Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Continuous Integration, TDD, BDD, Infrastructure as Code, and e2e Test Automat
- Knowledge of software best practices like Refactoring, Clean Code, Domain Driven Design, Encapsulation, etc
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Entrepreneurial, proactive mindset & hands-on attitude
- If you are a contributor to the open-source community, please don’t hesitate to share your Git profile beforehand
