This position is based in a portfolio that develops digital services in close cooperation with Porsche AG to further develop digital marketing and digital sales - in particular, the sales & marketing of our Porsche vehicles online.
WHAT YOUR TASKS ARE
- Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for your team
- Integrate, design and maintain and scalable software solutions in the fields of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Customer Data Platform (CDP) or other SaaS Martech solutions – also in the context of our digital touchpoints
- You participate in the design of process models and methods both in planning/conceptualization and in implementation
- Successfully identify, model, and aggregate data sources and events in a multi-platform environment, and design solutions to optimize customer relations
- Make sure that our systems are compliant with data protection regulations (like GDPR) and the security and quality standards of Porsche AG
- Provide technical and architectural consulting, as well as alignment with other teams on the ART to a shared technical direction, partnering with them in elaborating the solution and its interfaces, validating technology assumptions, and evaluating implementation alternatives
- Establish a long-term product strategy and propose adequate organizational and project synergies.
- Cross-functional coordination with relevant stakeholders
- You act as a specialist for security in the context of your team, also participating in the Security Guild with the security champions of the other teams and ARTs
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
- 5+ years professional experience in software engineering
- Experience with common martech SaaS solutions such as CDP (ideally, Tealium), Marketing Automation as well as CRM systems
- Professional experience in architecting large cloud applications for productive use (ideally, in AWS)
- Expertise with all major programming language families (object-oriented, functional, scripting)
- Experience working in diverse, international teams
- Broad knowledge about computer science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms, as well as software and cloud software design patterns
- Experience working in large teams using professional software development practices, such as writing clean code, participating in code review, using source code management, and using build and deployment pipelines
- Optionally, you have experience with the Google Marketing Platform, GMP (Google Analytics, Data Studio, Optimize...) or DMPs
- Experience with formal standards and frameworks for documenting architecture, such as 4+1, arc42 or SAP TAM
- Fluent in English and German
- Preferably knowledge in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Mentoring and training of other team members on design techniques and coding standards
